February 1, 2008—Three Milkweed books have been named finalists for the 2008 Minnesota Book Awards.
Finalists for the poetry category included Willow Room, Green Door by Deborah Keenan and Music for Landing Planes By by Éireann Lorsung.
Finalists for the memoir/creative nonfiction category included The Wet Collection by Joni Tevis.
Winners will be announced at the 20th Annual Minnesota Book Awards Celebration, which is scheduled for April 12, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza in downtown St. Paul.
