HBO presents Ken Kalfus's Pu-239 |

The movie adaptation of Ken Kalfus's short story, "Pu-239," which is the title story of his second Milkweed book, Pu-239 and Other Russian Fantasies, premieres on HBO Nov. 17 at 8 pm and will be shown for the next month.

Ken Kalfus's short story collection, Pu-239 and Other Russian Fantasies, was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, a Philadelphia Inquirer Notable Book, and led to a his selection as a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award.
Now, the book's title story has been
made into an HBO feature. The movie was written and directed by Scott
Z. Burns and starsPaddy Considine and Radha Mitchell. |
