Greg Leitich Smith Recommends Border Crossing |
Greg Leitich Smith, author of Ninjas, Piranhas, and Galileo (Little, Brown, 2003) and Tofu and T.Rex (Little, Brown, 2005), recently reviewed Jessica Lee Anderson's new YA novel Border Crossing on his blog. Greg praised the book highly, saying, "Border Crossing is a fascinating and disturbing novel of Manz's
descent into hallucinatory paranoia and suspicion, a result of his
emerging schizophrenia. Using a first-person narration, Anderson
skillfully unwraps the contours and tragedy of Manz's life and mental
illness. Highly recommended." Read more on Greg Leitich Smith's author blog.
