| Poet and translator, Jody Gladding won the Yale Younger Poets Award for her first book, Stone Crop, published in 1993. Her poems have appeared widely in ecopoetics, Orion, Ploughshares, Poetry, Wilderness Magazine, and elsewhere. Her recent translations include The Serpent of Stars by Jean Giono and Small Lives by
Pierre Michon (Archipelago, 2004 and 2008). She has been the recipient
of a Whiting Writers Award and a Centre National du Livre de France
Translation Grant. She lives in Vermont.
